Facebook tests video ads in budding YouTube challenge
Facebook on Thursday (Jul 2) confirmed that it is dabbling in video ads and sharing revenue with content creators, in a move that would compete with Google-owned YouTube.
Social networking giant has tested video ads on it as part of the function "Suggested Videos ". "Suggested Videos" is for video display similar to the videos, which users are visiting that they can will next visit interesting and Facebook Ads in the function "Suggested Videos". Ads income will be distributed to those who created the video, 55 percent of total revenue. According to Facebook.
EMarketer predicted that the amount of money spent on advertising on video in the United States will rise to$ 7.77 billion compared with the previous year at 5.81 billion dollars.
