Salt & Water, an architecture and yacht design firm based in Serbia, has unveiled their award-winning concept design for a luxury floating hotel with detachable private “rooms” in the form of catamarans.

The eye-popping hotel will allow guests an uninterrupted view of the surrounding nature is aimed at encouraging tourism in inland water areas. According to Salt & Water: “the floating hotel would be a perfect solution for tourism without any violation of the natural harmony of the place itself.”

1 A Hotel Concept That Floats On Water

A Serbian based architecture firm Salt & Water designed a floating hotel for inland waterways. Its structure is made up of catamarans that connect to a central unit, where hotel guests can "socialize and dine."

2 Hotel Rooms Detach & Float Away..

Imagine that, as a guest you can navigate the watery landscape in your own catamaran room that detaches from the main hotel lobby area.

3 A Moving View Of Nature's Surroundings

With their "unusual shape of large windows in the front," the catamarans cruise very slowly. Guests can enjoy a relaxed time with the gentle movement of water beneath them alongside uninterrupted views.

4 Catamaran Room Interiors

Salt & Water designed the interior of each room to be "modifiable" with contemporary amenities. Depending on the outside environment, the ambiance inside the space is changeable, such as natural lighting.

5 How Large Is Each Catamaran?

Each catamaran room sleeps 2 to 4 people, while having its own "reception area, bathroom, galley, storage, and sleeping spaces."

6 A Room With A View & Deck

The indoor and outdoor space allows visitors to enjoy privacy, while also utilizing the floating deck where one can sunbathe, swim, dive or fish, all in a bit of paradise.
