It is estimated that many species which would normally take between 800 and 10,000 years to become extinct have disappeared within the last 100 years.3
Of course, when rates of extinction are compared to times before humans were on the planet, it can only be concluded that human activity is fueling the extinction.4
There is much controversy surrounding issues about overfishing and hunting, so you must read the evidence and conclude just how much action we should take to save these species.5
The advice has and remains the same, yet species seem to continue to diminish: reduce your carbon footprint, eat less meat, don't buy fur. Got it? Good.
